Igoumenitsa It is a municipality in Greece located in the periphery of Epirus (the regional unit of Thesprotia). The town is one of the main gateways to Greece for those who prefer to travel by sea and land, avoiding flying.
Igoumenitsa is known for its Drepano beaches e Plataria and for the little one Syvota village, directly opposite the island of Corfu.
The city has no significant historic buildings, but not far from the centre there is an important Archaeological Museum. If possible, we also recommend visiting the Castle con his West Tower and part of the city walls.
