Durrës Durrës is the second most important city in Albania. Home to the most important Albanian port on the Adriatic, it is one of the country's main economic centres, as well as a renowned seaside and tourist resort. The city has frequent ferry connections with Italian ports on the Adriatic.

It is recommended to arrive at the port at least 3 hours before the departure time, especially during the peak summer season.
